Assessment - general information

To obtain a pass mark for the composite course (Business Lab), the minimum pass mark for this part of the course (Business Case) is 10 out of 20. If you fail the composite course (Business Lab), you only resit the failed part(s) of this composite course.

Evaluations for first exam chance:

The job-oriented assignment for the first exam chance consists of the following parts.

1. Observation of the performance during the teaching and learning process (65%)
For the the job-oriented assignment each group submits several group assignments. Failure to meet interim deadlines will be penalised with a mark of zero for that particular assignment. The burden of proof for the submission of assignments rests with the students.

The individual mark of each student for this assessment is determined by multiplying the group mark with the student's peer assessment factor. The lecturer retains the right to adjust the individual mark.

Attendance and peer interaction is mandatory to enable assessment of this teaching and learning activity. Failure to attend the sessions in absence of authorisation, will result in a deduction of your individual mark for this assessment i.e. -3 points per missed session out of your individual score on 20 for the assessment of the observation of the performance during the teaching and the learning process.

See detailed info on the LMS.

2. Assessment 2: Presentation (35%)
The individual mark of each student for this assessment is determined by multiplying the individual mark with the student's peer assessment factor. The lecturer retains the right to adjust the individual mark.
Attendance is mandatory to enable assessment of the presentation. Failure to attend in absence of authorisation, will result in a mark of zero for the presentation. A make-up exam can only be granted if it is practically feasible and if the absence is authorised.

See detailed info on the LMS.

Evaluations for re-sit exam:

Job-oriented assignment with exam interview (100%): Individual and adjusted job-oriented assignment.

See info on the LMS.
